Tear. Wear. Love Your Hair with HASK Deep Conditioners!*

by

Hair. It can make a statement or sit in the back seat. It can make or break your look sometimes and it’s kind of a pain to take care of – however, HASK makes it so easy with their affordable, cruelty free and paraben free products available at Target.

As we transition into our Winter skin care routines, we definitely should not leave our hair out of the picture. I don’t know about you ladies (and lads) but my hair gets incredibly dry and staticky in the winter (and no, that dryer sheet trick does not work for me) which is why I think it’s important to use great products on my hair too. HASK has so many different hair care lines, so you definitely can find something to fix all of your hair problems (HASK says that they’re “hair” for you – they aren’t kidding!)

The Monoi Coconut Oil Deep Conditioner is great for all hair types. It’s an ultra-restorative treatment formulated with Monoi Oil which is known for its re-hydrating benefits. It smells like coconut and I’ve been using this one for years – I love it! It doesn’t leave your hair greasy which is a plus for me. I was always hesitant to use deep conditioners because I thought they would be too much on my thin hair but the formula of HASK‘s deep conditioners is great and won’t weigh your locks down! I personally love the Monoi Coconut Oil collection from HASK.

The Keratin Protein Deep Conditioner is perfect for those with damaged hair, although I’m sure it would work on all hair types. The ingredients in this deep conditioner work together to leave your hair smooth, frizz free and shiny! (Who doesn’t want that?!) I love this one during the winter because it helps fight static and reduces breakage.

The Argan Oil Deep Conditioner is a repairing treatment formulated with keratin and of course, argan oil. I remember seeing argan oil on QVC all the time a few years ago and I never got what all the hype was about, but it’s really a great oil especially for your hair so now I do. Argan oil easily penetrates split ends and adds a bunch of moisture back into them, leaving you with super soft and healthy looking hair. Coloring your hair often or using heat on it everyday can really damage it, so I suggest using this deep conditioner at least once a week to help your hair maintain it’s shine and keep it healthy!

Last, but not least – the Macadamia Nut Oil Deep Conditioner. This is another treatment that’s great for dry and damaged hair, but I’m sure it would work on different hair types too. Macadamia oil is great for split/dead ends and can help to repair them. It also leaves your hair with lots of shine and keeps it soft and smooth. I love the way this one worked on my hair!

I definitely think that some of us skimp on our hair care and mainly focus on our skin care, but these deep conditioning treatments from HASK make it so simple. Just wash your hair like you normally do in the shower, get out of the shower, apply the treatment to your hair and let it sit for 10 minutes. While it’s working it’s magic, get caught up on your friends’ Snapchat stories, eat some cookies, drink some tea or even use a face mask. It’s that easy! Healthy hair has never been simpler, and like I said, HASK is “hair” for you. 😉

I hope you enjoyed the post and that you pick up some of these deep conditioners when you’re at Target! (HINT: they make the PERFECT stocking stuffers!)

Thanks so much for reading, as always <3

HASK Biotin Boost Thickening Collection Review *

by

Hey my loves! So as you can tell by the title, I’ll be reviewing another collection from Hask. I love their products, which if you’ve been here a while, you already know that. They’re cruelty-free, affordable and paraben free + more. This collection is exclusive to Ulta, so make sure that the next time you stop there that you grab this collection!

This is a new collection called Biotin Boost and it’s supposed to thicken your hair without leaving it weighed down or greasy! This kind of reminded me of their Volumizing collection, but this one is a bit different since it’s all about thickening (and trust me, I NEED my hair to start looking thicker!)

So the shampoo doesn’t have the best smell in the world, but it is something I can live with, especially if it gives me the results I want (the scent doesn’t cling to your hair, so once your rinse it out you’re in the clear). I’m always pleased with Hask products, so I knew this one wouldn’t disappoint.

The conditioner smells better than the shampoo and left my hair so soft! One thing I hate about some conditioners is that they don’t condition enough, so my hair still feels dry after rinsing but that didn’t happen which I’m so happy about.

The thickening cream is something you would apply to towel dried hair and blow dry it or let it air dry. This adds volume without making your strands feel sticky or heavy, which I’m sure we all hate when that happens! The trio of biotin, collagen and coffee enhance the appearance of your hair and make it appear thicker.

The results were pretty quick after my hair air dried. I could tell that there was a lot of lift towards my roots, which is something I need otherwise my hair just lays flat on my head. The overall texture of my hair was better too, the conditioner really seemed to smooth out my locks and my hair did look pretty fabulous if I do say so myself.

Overall, another Hask collection that knocks it out of the park! I’ve never been disappointed with a Hask product and I’ve really been dying to try their dry shampoo which comes in a GINORMOUS can, so I’m deco adding that to my wishlist!

Have you tried Hask before? Let me know 🙂

I hope you enjoyed the post.

Thanks so much for reading, as always <3

HASK Chia Seed Oil Volumizing Collection Review *

by

I have extremely fine, straight hair – so getting volume in my hair is always tough. Most products I use for volume leave my hair feeling gross or looking like it had too much product in it, which I hate. If you’ve been here for a while, you probably remember some of my past HASK hair reviews (Bamboo Oil, Mint Almond Oil, and Monoi Coconut Oil), well here’s another! The Chia Seed Oil collection is formulated for adding volume to your hair, without drying it out and you won’t need to put in any extra effort by blow-drying your hair upside down (which is a win for me, since my hair is usually dry and I hate blow-drying my hair!) I’ve used it quite a few times and I’m super happy with the results, so if you want to read my review on the Chia Seed Oil collection, keep on reading!

What makes Chia Seed Oil important?

  • Chia seeds are full of hair-volumizing proteins, antioxidants and shine enhancing nutrients like omega-3s
  • HydraBoost helps your hair during every wash by lifting lifeless locks without weighing hair down

The shampoo is awesome. It smells great, lathers well and doesn’t dry my hair out (which is a huge issue, especially with the cold weather now!) It feels really nice on the scalp and doesn’t remove all of the oils that your hair needs. It’s super gentle and that’s why I love it!

Since I was happy with the shampoo, I knew I was going to be happy with the conditioner too! HASK’s conditioners are awesome and I love every single one I’ve tried. A little bit goes a long way (same for the shampoo too!), which is another reason why I love HASK’s hair care sooooo much! They’re inexpensive too and can be found at Ulta, Walgreens, Kmart, Cvs and other stores as well.

I highly recommend this collection if you have fine, thin hair like I do – it surely won’t disappoint! If volume isn’t what you’re looking for, check out my other reviews on their collection to find what collection is right for you! The Bamboo Oil collection is great for strengthening the hair, Mint Almond Oil is great for thickening the hair and Monoi Coconut Oil is the best for adding needed moisture to your locks.

I hope you enjoyed the post and that you’ll pick up some products from HASK – you won’t regret it!

Thanks for reading, as always <3

HASK Bamboo Oil Collection | Review *

by

IMG_1208

IMG_1225IMG_1231You guys know how much I love HASK’s products…it’s nearing an addiction phase. I was thrilled that I got the opportunity to try out their Bamboo Oil collection that’s specifically for strengthening your hair. Here’s what HASK says about this collection on their website…

“It’s time to add strength training to your hair care routine! Fortify fragile hair and defend against damage and breakage with HASK Bamboo Oil Strengthening collection. The line features a Shampoo, Conditioner, Deep Conditioner and Shine Oil, all formulated with ProDefense Complex that penetrates hair to strengthen, reinforce and protect. Bamboo oil, known as one of Asia’s natural treasures, is proven to strengthen hair and deliver essential nutrients that revive weakened and lifeless strands. Combined with biotin and collagen, silicon-rich bamboo oil gives hair a strong foundation, improves flexibility and prevents split ends. So damage caused by every day styling is a thing of the past!”

I don’t know about you, but I start by shampooing my hair first (I know some people who condition first, but I ain’t about that life). This Bamboo Oil Strengthening Shampoo is like magic. It left my hair feeling so smooth and soft (per usual with HASK’s products). It also felt like it had a different texture to it after I rinsed out the shampoo, kind of like it instantly transformed my hair, but maybe that’s just me.
The conditioner really helped to keep my hair feeling soft and smooth, also helped reduce my frizziness without making my hair look or feel oily or greasy (which is important to me). These two work amazingly together, and the ingredients in both with help strengthen your hair in no time!

You might use a mask for your face, but did you know that your hair needs a mask sometimes too? HASK has lots of different hair masks and they have one in this collection too! I’ve used their masks before on nights when I wanted to pamper myself. They come in convenient pouch that comes with 1.75 oz of product, if you have short hair like me, you can definitely get more than one use out of the single pouch. They say to use it 1-2 times a week and to leave it on for 10 minutes (on clean wet hair) then rinse your hair thoroughly. These masks really help to repair your hair and thoroughly nourish all of your locks without leaving your hair greasy or weighed down from residue, it’s a win win.

Hair oils are good to give your hair a little extra TLC and to help reduce frizz and fly aways. I like to use a small amount of oil on my dry hair before leaving for the day. It makes me look polished and like I didn’t just roll out of bed (even though I totally did). This hair oil is great, just like the other one I’ve tried from HASK and I definitely will be using it daily (so I hope they come out with a full size soon 😉 HMU HASK when you do!)

P.s. How cute is this bag I got too!? I used the other one I got while traveling to hold my toiletries and it was awesome! I will definitely put this one to good use too.

So that’s all for today, I hope you enjoyed reading!

Hask Mint Almond Oil Collection | Review *

by

allIf you didn’t already know, I love Hask’s products. I did a ravin’ review on their Monoi Coconut Oil collection which you can check out here. I was able to try out the Mint Almond Oil collection and my expectations were high and I definitely wasn’t disappointed. I have ultra thin hair so when I noticed that these products had a Bio 3 thickening complex in them, I was even more thriller. It’s so hard for me to get volume in my hair and make it look full, so I was really hoping these products could help me out – and they did! All of the products were sent over in this adorable bag too, that I definitely will be traveling with.

First up, the shampoo and conditioner. They have a great minty smell and invigorate your scalp (just like the bottle says!) I can get a really nice lather with the shampoo and love the way it feels, it leaves me hair feeling refreshed after I rinse it out. I realllllllllly focus it on my roots to help add some volume. After I rinse it all out, I apply the conditioner mainly focusing on the ends, and then I take the little bit of excess and add it up closer to my roots. I leave it on for a little bit then rinse it out and it leaves my hair feeling so soft and smooth. These products don’t weigh your hair down, which I love.

Next is the root thickening spray. Smells just like the shampoo and conditioner and I think the pop of color on the bottle is so cute. (Hask has such cute packaging, I love it). It says to use on towel dried hair and to focus it on your roots then blow dry your hair or you can use it on dry hair for an added lift. I’ve done both and I prefer to use it when I blow out my hair, just to add a little bit more volume. It also adds some nice texture which I like. The only downside with this product is that you can accidentally use too much, and it will cause some buildup at your roots. So I would start by using a little bit then work your way up until you find the right amount that works for you. It doesn’t make you feel or look greasy though, which is a great plus. I really like this stuff and I’m pleased with the volume it adds to my hair.

Overall, I highly recommend these products if you have thin, fine hair. They’re about the same price as the other collection I used and can be found at Ulta, Walmart, Walgreens and other stores.

Thanks for reading! Have you used these before or want to use them now? Let me know below 🙂
